Physical Description: He is 5 feet and 10 inches and 110 pounds, but always looks shorter than what he is due to use disheveled, and languid appearence. L is always sitting in a very unusual position in order to increase his deductive skills. If he were to sit normally he claims his skills would decrease by 40%. He has short ruffled black hair, and black eyes with black lines underneath them. He always wears a plain white t-shirt, with heans, and usually no shoes.

Abilities: L has a staggering amount of knowledge, conceptualization power, unlimited amount of motivation to get something done, and has a lot of will power. However, he does tend to lack in the social skills department.

Characterisc: L is very fond of sweets like tarts, cakes, cookies, fruits, and many other different sweets. He also loves fresh tea with a lot of sugar and creme in it. So if you put anything sweet in front of him he'll most likely eat it, or play around with it. L also has a tendancy to stack up creme cups. However, even with so much sweet stuff he does not get hyper. In fact he has a rather monotone voice, and sarcastic and dry sense of humor. L tends to second-guess everything he is presented with, and is extremely meticulous and analytical. He has several quirks such as preferring to crouch rather than sit, eating only sweet foods like desserts and fruits, and holding items very delicately. L suggests that even though he eats only sweet foods, he remains underweight because the brain uses the most calories of any organ in the body.

Bio: L stayed in England for five years, and during that time he was the champion in tennis for the England Junior Cup. L also secretly assumes the identities of the world's second and third best detectives, (Eraldo Coil and Deneuve respectively). L was a former resident of Wammy's House, one of Watari's orphanages, as well as a safe haven and educational facility specifically for intellectually-gifted children. Therefore, similar to Near and Mello, L's abilities were discovered while living there, and he is most likely an orphan.

Personal Desire: To catch Kira and bring him to Justice.
